Timothy Kassouni has been practicing land use, real estate, appellate, and business litigation for over 20 years.
Appellate litigation is an integral aspect of the practice at Kassouni Law. Mr. Kassouni has argued before the California Supreme Court, the Federal Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the California Court of Appeal in numerous appellate matters.
Constitutional Land use and Property Rights litigation: Mr. Kassouni is recognized throughout the state of California as a leader in the protection of private property rights against unreasonable government restrictions and abuse by government employees. He has substantial experience in Constitutional property rights, including eminent domain, inverse condemnation, and civil rights litigation. This practice area includes property owners rights in zoning and development, disputes regarding subdivisions, use permits, building permits, mitigation fees, land dedication requirements, easements, land rights, California Coastal Commission issues, and nuisance abatement issues.
Real estate litigation: this practice area includes disputes regarding purchase and sale agreements, escrow, inadequate disclosures, easements, trespass, quiet title, and land, mineral and water rights.
Business litigation: this practice area includes contracts, breach of contract actions, fraud, conversion, trade secrets, and non-competition covenenants.
Construction defect litigation: Timothy Kassouni has represented over 100 homeowners in construction defect litigation against developers for inadequate construction. Environmental litigation: The practice exclusively represents businesses and private individuals against unreasonable government restrictions and abuse including the following legal matters CEQA, Endangered Species, and Environmental Compliance issues.

Obtained over 1.5 million for a storage facility company after two week trial on inverse condemnation claim.
